It is sometimes difficult to think of new ideas to write about.
I was sitting here thinking, "I should write something this morning, but what?"
I read over my profile and saw my own words about what it is like to live as a psychic.
Even as I write the word psychic I am reminded that everyone is psychic to some degree, so I am not really so special. I certainly don't feel any different from anyone else.
I think that the most important thing about acknowledging your own psychic abilities is learning how to listen to the guidance that is all around, and acting on it. That can take a few years of practice, but the rewards are many.
The hardest part is trusting in the messages and taking the leaps of faith that they inspire.
I am taking one such leap this weekend.
There is a bit of a story behind this current leap....
I have several projects on my "back burners". I am extremely crunched for time with having 2 jobs and 3 kids. Life is complicated.
I have a huge home repair bill that I am trying to pay off, so money is pretty tight. (What else is new right?)
I was in the staff room at my office building and I saw a picture on the bulletin board that drew my attention. I started to read the flyer and the word, "trailblazer" caught my eye. I had to find out more.
The words, "back burner" also popped out and I knew that something was happening. As I read on I found that many of the words in the flyer were words that were echoing inside my heart. It was a weekend workshop geared to helping get those back burner projects back onto the front burner. I knew then that I had to go to that workshop.
I looked at the dates and my weekend (of course) was open. I don't have the money for the workshop, but I'll figure something out. I know that I will get something that I really need from the weekend, I'm just not sure what.
That basically describes, for me, what it is like to live as a psychic. Following those gut instincts and trusting in what they tell you to do. You don't know everything, and you don't always know why you are doing what you are doing, but you know that these things fall onto your path for a reason.
